The Importance of Brushing Your Teeth

Teeth are a very important part of our bodies. Without teeth we would not be able to chew our food properly. Kids need to learn at a young age the proper way to care for their teeth, and know what foods could be harmful to their teeth health.

Our children where patiently waiting for the show to being. Each child was just hoping that they would get picked to be a helper.

We had five friends that help start the show! Each child was able to hold a letter. Once all the children were lined up they spelled out the word TEETH!

Each child was given the opportunity to brush Sam's teeth. The dentist walked each child through the proper way of brushing and flossing your teeth.

One experiment that the children were able to do, was healthy foods vs. junk food.
The children would stick their finger into the junk food and feel how sticky it was and then they would touch the healthy food. The difference each child learn. was healthy food is better for your teeth and your body, and it does not make your teeth feel dirty.

The last experiment the children did was with three types of eggs into three different jar. Each of the jars had a different type of liquid.  As the children touched each egg they found out that the egg was getting softer. The dentist told them this is what happens when you drink soda and other fizzy drinks. When you drink water it does not effect your teeth. The children loved the time that the dentist spent with them, and one child told her that he wanted her to be his dentist now!
