It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Fall....

As much as we love the summer weather here at Holly Tree, we are so excited to have the fall season upon us! Fall is such a great opportunity for families to spend time together doing activities that may not be available in other seasons. We encourage all families to get out there and participate in fall family fun activities that are available in our community, or maybe even in your own backyard! Try these fall activities with your family:

- Visit a pumpkin patch
- Go on a hay ride
- Make apple butter
- Go on an outdoor fall scavenger hunt
- Bake your families favorite cookies together
- Enjoy some apple cider
- Go on a nature walk
- Jump in a pile of leaves!
- Extract and bake pumpkin seeds

This photo is of Ms. Chelsea and Ms. Jennifer's fall- tastic bulletin board! What a great festive display they have! We love the way the children participated in making this board. Stop by their classroom to take a closer look!

Wall Murals

Check out our wall murals for this month's themes! We are learned about Noah and his ark and how he was able to construct it. We are going to be learning next week about the Wise Man and Foolish Man and where each of them chose to build his house. The last week of September we are going to go on an artistic journey through the imagination of little Harold by means of his purple crayon. Each classroom will be creating its own hallway mural on September 27th!

See if you can find where each one of our murals are in the school!

Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear...

Yesterday we celebrated National Teddy Bear Day! We brought some of our favorite stuffed friends with us to school! It was so much fun!

Our Special Treat!

This week we learned all about Things That Go! Our literary spotlight was Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus by Mo Willems. Today we had a special snack after nap time: Yummy Busses! We loved licking off the icing. Take a look at our pictures below!
