Pre-K Christmas Program

If you were not there to see it live, our Pre-K Christmas Program was a BLAST!  The kids did an amazing job and we are so proud of them!  They preformed Silent Night, Santa Claus is Coming to Town and We Wish You a Merry Christmas!

Thank you for all of the families that came out!  Especially the families that stayed after to help clean up!

Here are a few shots from the evening.

Santa and Dr. McNutt came to visit!

It was such a great week at Holly Tree when Santa came to visit each class! The children sang songs to him about his reindeer and he talked to them about the North Pole! After his visit everyone dressed up in there warmest pajamas and got to have a special guest visit from Dr. McNutt and his toothy puppy! He gave everyone a present bag that included stickers, a coloring book, a pencil and a new toothbrush! We always welcome our visitors and they both said our group of kids were excellent and on the nice list!!

God Gave Us Food!

PreK did a super fun cooking project this week!  They made fruit salad!  The children, cut up all of the fruit themselves, served themselves and even voted on their favorite fruit!  They took time and used their sense of touch, smell and sight to describe all of the different fruits used.  It looks like strawberry and pineapple are the winners of the vote!

Holly Tree Fall Festival!

We had so much fun at last night's Fall Festival! We were so grateful that the rain held off until it was over. It was a bit cool and windy but that didn't stop the families from celebrating with us!

Holly tree thrives on family involvement and fellowship and to see so many of our families support our school was a true blessing. The staff provided chili with cheese, crackers, chips & sour cream plus popcorn and pink lemonade. The children had the most fun painting their faces and pumpkins!

We had several booths set up that included a fall themed portrait booth, candy corn bowling, a pumpkin toss game, and a Hershey's kiss count. Our new Director Ms. Caroline blew these amazing huge bubbles that wowed the crowd! Of course, the three bounce houses were a favorite for everyone! It was a really great time to let the children play & enjoy all the activities.

Mrs. Chantel would like to thank everyone for their love, support, encouragement and prayers throughout the last 5 months as she has had the honor of directing this glorious school. Her time here will never be forgotten. What a privilege it is to be a part of a faith based school and to watch our children grow in the spirit of God as well as academics. Thanks again, have a wonderful weekend everyone.
