Branches Ministries Presents the 3rd Annual Awesome Art Auction!

This week our mini Michelangelos are creating canvas art within their classroom. These paintings will be up for grabs the week of July 22-26 via silent auction! Each "Master Piece" will begin with a bid of $15 and will increase by increments of $5. The lucky bidders at the end of the week (July 26th) will take home their new, fantastically original piece of art!

But wait there's more! The class that earns the highest bid for their artwork will receive a special prize!

Cooking with Mrs. Sara!!!

If you are looking for a great helper in the kitchen...look no further!

On Tuesday, the kids at Holly Tree helped Mrs. Sara make Rice Krispie treats. Many of them got a chance to stir the butter, marshmallows, and cereal. Some children even added sprinkles and mini chocolate chips. 

We sure enjoyed our creation during snack time!!!!

Camper John Visits Holly Tree!

This week at Holly Tree, our theme is A Day At The Lake. We are studying outdoor safety, things we can do in the woods and around the lake, camping and more!

Today, Camper John came to visit us! He talked to us about being safe while hiking and camping and even showed us a lot of his cool outdoor equipment!

Camper John let his new Friends reach into his bag and see all kinds of things he had to go on his outdoor excursion! Here are some of the things the children found:

Brayden found a case that keeps items safe from water and the rain!

Bennett got to use some of Camper John's trekking gear!

Jailen can hike in the dark hands free with a flashlight on his head!

Reese is now safe in the woods wearing a bright color.

Taylor got to practice fishing!

We all had a lot of fun outside today. Thanks Camper John!

Dirt and Worms

"Eww Mrs. Elisabeth!" Is what I kept hearing today during our afternoon snack for the older children here at Holly Tree! My Friends here really got into our silly snack of Dirt and Worms!! This week we have been studying how Animals Use Dirt in Different Ways. They made silly  faces as we presented their chocolaty snack to them (a rare treat!)

What Are We Learning Today?

Good Morning from Holly Tree!

This morning we are learning about all kinds of things that will help us grow!

In Preschool 1, Mrs. Chelsea is reading about different types of automobiles. Here she is showing her class a school bus!

In Toddler 1, Mrs. Jennifer is reading to her class about all the things we can do with our teeth-but that teeth are not for biting! "Ouch! Biting hurts!"

 Back in PreK Two, our big kids are singing about which day is today, and what day will be tomorrow.  This is a daily routine that the children do after their daily prayer. This morning our Friend, Jacob, lead the class prayer. He asked the Lord to, "keep us safe" and thanked him for Jesus.
