In keeping with our teacher highlights this time we have decided to focus on Ms. Sara. Ms. Sara is our Toddler two teacher- she has been in that class for the last six months.
She has been working at Holly Tree Christian Preschool for two and a half years- in that time she has been a transition teacher, Toddler one and Toddler two. The group that she is with now she has followed from Transition up! She loves these little kids so much.
Sara is such a team player. She constantly lets everyone know that she will help out in any way that she possibly can. Her tone and attitude with the children is always amazing. Since she is just down the hall from my desk I can hear her interactions with the children all day long and her tone is always caring but firm. She makes sure that they know she's serious about something without ever upsetting them.
Sara is always looking for new and innovative ways to teach the kids in her class. I love walking past and seeing them working on different art projects, sitting and sweetly listening during circle time, or Sara coming up with fun ways to promote Gross Motor activities while it's too hot or cold to head outside with them.
Sara is constantly asking questions, taking suggestions and working hard to make sure that her kids are challenged in all of the best ways! She is always trying to make sure that no one is bored, that they are receiving the best of everything she has to offer and even beyond that things that she hasn't yet offered but maybe one day could.
She frequently sends fun and creative ideas to other teachers or to Caroline and me! It's so much fun to empower her to move forward and watch her run with all of the inspiration she can find!
Sara is a wonderful teacher and always works hard to make sure that her kids are ready to transition up to the next room!
My favorite thing about Sara being here is how incredible she is at teaching- a very close second is her daughter Camille. She is as sweet as she could possibly be and is the cutest thing in the entire world. If you have gotten the pleasure of stopping by Preschool two she is the one with the perfect big brown eyes and golden hair.
Caroline and I constantly talk about how lucky we are to have her and I'll never stop being thankful that she stays with Holly Tree!
