Dirt and Worms

"Eww Mrs. Elisabeth!" Is what I kept hearing today during our afternoon snack for the older children here at Holly Tree! My Friends here really got into our silly snack of Dirt and Worms!! This week we have been studying how Animals Use Dirt in Different Ways. They made silly  faces as we presented their chocolaty snack to them (a rare treat!)

What Are We Learning Today?

Good Morning from Holly Tree!

This morning we are learning about all kinds of things that will help us grow!

In Preschool 1, Mrs. Chelsea is reading about different types of automobiles. Here she is showing her class a school bus!

In Toddler 1, Mrs. Jennifer is reading to her class about all the things we can do with our teeth-but that teeth are not for biting! "Ouch! Biting hurts!"

 Back in PreK Two, our big kids are singing about which day is today, and what day will be tomorrow.  This is a daily routine that the children do after their daily prayer. This morning our Friend, Jacob, lead the class prayer. He asked the Lord to, "keep us safe" and thanked him for Jesus. 

PreK Two Prom

Friday of last week was had our annual PreK Prom for those who are going to kindergarten this fall. It's a very special night for those Friends who are the big kids around here. They all came dressed their best and it was so sweet! Thank you to all the parents who were involved, too!

Today at Holly Tree, we had the annual Green Our Scene Family Picnic! The children loved getting to see their family and friends who came and enjoyed lunch with them. We all had a lot of fun picnicing inside and out of the chilly weather!

Going For A Stroll

A few of our infants from Nursery 1 got to enjoy the fresh air today! They were happy to get out of the classroom and enjoy the outdoors before the rain comes.  :)
