What Do We Do When It Rains?

It's raining, it's pouring....but we are definitely NOT snoring here at HTB! Check out some fun ways we pass the time when we can't go outside and play!


We bring the outside in! 


Each class is planting flowers.


And once they start growing...



We are going to plant them in the big pots at the front of the school!



Even infants got in on the action!

We also did a rain cloud experiment with shaving cream!

Holly Tree Families

We have the best families around at Holly Tree Christian! The Easter weekend consisted of lots of worship, family togetherness, good food, and memories being made! Here are some Easter pictures from our HTB family to yours.

Letters to Heaven

To kick off our Easter week at Holly Tree Christian, we had a letters to Heaven balloon release. Each child got a balloon with our email address and a Bible verse attached. We are hoping to be able to track how far our balloons travel! The children LOVED the balloons, and some were even sad when they had to let them go. 

He is not here;

Rejoice

This Sunday we celebrate Palm Sunday. Today, we talked about the Hosanna story with the children, reading out of the children's Bible, and making our own Palm branches. The Toddler classroom went outside and picked their own branches to put their 'palm leaves' on. They marched around the room waving their branches and singing 'Hosanna'. It is amazing to see how the Lord works and expresses life through children. 


John 12:13- Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed [is] the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord. 

Special Guest

The weather has been SO beautiful lately and we had a special guest! Soccer Shots came to visit Holly Tree Christian to do a free demo of what their organization has to offer. Not only does it promote physical health and learning, but they also promote team building. This helps the children learn how to work together. The children had a BLAST! Weekly Parent Activities at HTB

We LOVE interacting with the families of Holly Tree Christian and having fun things at pick up to help promote family togetherness! Today's fun activity was a popcorn bar in honor of National Popcorn Lovers Day! 


We had Kettle Corn, Caramel Corn, and Popcorn to choose from.
