Spring is in the Air!

We really enjoyed ending the week with BEAUTIFUL weather! We had learning/circle time outside, talked about the clouds & nature we saw outside, ate afternoon snack on the playground, and played until we couldn't play anymore! We have lots of fun ideas for spring and summer months at Holly Tree Christian including a garden and a digging station, so stay tuned! 27 days until spring!

Red, White, & Blue

Happy President's Day! We learned about the flag and had a healthy Red, White & Blue special snack. One of our teachers in Preschool 2 is in the process of joining our armed forces, so she really enjoyed teaching the children about the flag, our President, and America!

Love is in the Air at Holly Tree Christian

This week has been all about love and Valentine's Day! We had a fun make & take Valentine's card station for parents to do with their children at pick up. We love promoting family togetherness/activities at Holly Tree Christian!

Our Pre-K class did a fun experiment using candy hearts. They tested to see which color heart would make the brightest color using hot and cold water! Which color do you think is the brightest?

JAMMING WITH JESUS

One of our many Enrichment's at Holly Tree is Jesus And Me or JAM! Our Transitional class room enjoyed singing for Jesus on this past Tuesday. They were learning about The Parable of the Lost Coin. Ms. Sandra our JAM teacher does an amazing job making sure that the lesson she is teaching the children is on their level. Although they may be small they love singing and interacting with Ms. Sandra and Peanut the dog. They also love bubble! When Ms. Makenya or Ms. Jessica pulls the bubbles out all of the children get super excited!
